In this gentle class, you will learn to identify and address compensation patterns that contribute to pain and stiffness. Through guided exercises, you'll build skills to move more efficiently and help your body function with greater ease. The class combines chair and standing stretches, and requires no mat or floor work. Ideal for individuals with chronic pain, stiffness, or varying levels of ability, no prior experience necessary.
About the instructor: Meggen Wright, C-IAYT, E-RYT 200, RYT 500 is the founder of Restorative Health Therapies, LLC, at the Tannery Marketplace in Littleton.
Megg earned her Yoga Therapy Certification from the International Association of Yoga Therapists in 2016 and has been a registered yoga instructor since 2007. Drawing from her own experience with chronic pain caused by impact accidents and falls since the 1990s, Megg specializes in helping individuals reduce pain and enhance better movement. Through anatomical awareness and the principles of pure movement, she empowers people to develop a deeper mind-body connection, allowing them to move and breathe with greater ease—free from unnecessary tension and strain. With over 1,600 therapeutic yoga-based classes and private sessions taught across health clinics, fitness centers, businesses, workshops, and private retreats from Washington, D.C. to Maine, Megg has become a trusted expert in her field. She has also presented two lectures at the Women’s Health Conference, hosted by Littleton Regional Hospital, covering topics such as pure movement, fascia health, and building core strength and stability.
