Want to market your business on social media but aren’t sure how to start? This workshop will introduce some of the larger platforms and discuss strategies for setting up your social presence via content creation, interaction, and more!
Getting your business on social media can be a great way to reach customers, develop your brand’s voice, and establish your business within your community. But it can also be hard to get a signal through all the noise, and not get buried beneath the algorithms.
In this introductory workshop, we’ll start with discussing where to best connect with your audience and how to set up a consistent brand online. From there will discuss strategies for posting and interacting, and brainstorm content creation ideas for your specific business, as well as look at tools and resources. Attendees are encouraged to bring a smartphone or tablet they can work on.
If you’re new to leveraging social platforms for your business, or want to reboot and reinvent your social presence, this is the workshop for you!
Please note: This workshop will build on concepts of brand identity and voice from the Crafting Your Brand workshop. Attendance of both workshops is by no means required, but may be helpful! Save $5 when you register for both workshops: non-members can take both classes for $55, members can take both classes for $45. Register for both classes here.
Launching Your Social Media Presence will take place on Friday, May 16th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at The Gallery at WREN, 2011 Main Street, Bethlehem.
About the instructor: Alena Lane Allegretti is a graphic designer and marketer with a decade and a half of experience in small business marketing, web design & development, print design, copywriting, and illustration -- she always enjoys an opportunity to use imaginative means to tell a story about a product or an organization.
A New Hampshire native and current Bethlehem resident, Alena has held a lifelong passion for creative pursuits. Her educational background includes a degree from Williams College with a focus in Studio Arts. Outside of work, Alena loves drawing, hiking, and tabletop games.
